Faith That Makes Room for God
There are moments when God asks us to do something that feels almost too simple: trust Him. Psalm 81:10 gives us a picture that I cannot get out of my mind: “Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.”
What would happen if we really believed that? Not a little faith. Not faith with one foot on the ground and the other foot waiting for proof. I mean faith that lifts its head, opens its mouth WIDE, and expects God to fill it. That is the kind of faith I believe Coming Together Ministries needs in this next season. We have prayed. We have worked. We have planned. We have served. We have done our part—and we will continue to do our part. But our part is not the whole story. God can take what we place in His hands and multiply it beyond what we could accomplish on our own. He can open doors we cannot open, bring people we could never reach, provide resources we could never produce, and turn small acts of obedience into something exponentially greater. Faith does not mean sitting still and waiting for God to do everything. Faith means moving forward while trusting Him with the outcome. We work faithfully, we give faithfully, we invite faithfully, we serve faithfully—and then we trust God to breathe His power into our obedience. “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…”

As we prepare to finalize Coming Together LIVE-6, I want to challenge each of us: don’t think it is too late to be inspired to attend. It is not too late to encourage someone else to come. And it is certainly not too late to pray, give, and help make this gathering possible. September 15–20, 2026, we will gather at the Hendersonville Seventh-day Adventist Church in Hendersonville, North Carolina, for a week centered on healing, hope, truth, worship, testimony, and authentic Christian community. Our desire is to reach people who are hurting, confused, discouraged, or simply wondering if there is any hope for them. Some are lost in a sea of confusion and doubt. They need more than an argument. They need to know they are not alone. They need to encounter the love of Jesus. They need a safe place to hear truth, experience compassion, find community, and believe that restoration is possible. Coming Together LIVE-6 is our opportunity to say, “Come. You are not alone. There is hope. There is healing. There is a Savior who has not forgotten you.” “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

I am asking you to open your mouth wide—not just for yourself, but for this ministry. Open it in prayer. Open it in expectation. Open it by inviting someone. Open it by telling others about Coming Together LIVE-6. Open it by giving.
