IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Pastor Ron Woolsey has been with ‘Coming Out’ Ministries a little over 13 years as a Cofounder and Senior Speaker. Our organization has been blessed by his musical talent, writing skills, messages, testimony, and many other roles he has been asked to fill, including Board Chair and Treasurer over these years of ministry.

As of March 31, 2024, he is resigning from his full-time position with ‘Coming Out’ Ministries, but his imprint on our ministry will continue and he will not be forgotten. He has made a difference in many ways, including playing a significant role in helping us to establish our new location at Berrien Springs. Thank you is not enough, and he will be missed.

However, this is not goodbye, but merely a different relationship. He will continue to share his ministry gifts with others, and we will look for opportunities to be together at events. We look forward to those times.

Thank you, Pastor Woolsey for your commitment to ‘Coming Out’ Ministries all these years. We pray for your continued success in ministry, and the blessing of the lives of others as you share the gifts God has given you.

THE POWER OF THE GOSPEL!

‘Coming Out’ Ministries has been making many changes and moving forward with the renovation of our new building. Get ready to see some amazing things!

Our new facility will provide office space for Jerry, our Executive Assistant, to oversee the foundation and workings of the ministry on a daily basis. The building will also serve as a shipping center for our books and dvd’s along with housing our props for ASI and GYC. We are continuing to move toward our fundraising goal and are up $10,000.00 in just a week. Not only are we working on the grounds, but we are also working on bringing in new voices to declare the power of Jesus Christ working in the lives of men and women. Get ready to see some new faces and an increasingly broad message of choice, liberty, and belonging.

Michael Carducci is getting ready to record a children’s program for 3ABN to give kids a foundation of identity and sexuality that will shield their innocence. It will equip our kids with God’s design before they are exposed to the modern agenda which seeks to destroy the “Image of God” in every child.

There are many upcoming opportunities, including a pastor’s conference in March and also a regional GYC in Spokane as well. Michael was at Fresno Central last week, where hundreds showed up for a weekend of enlightenment on issues that affect the home and the church. We discussed how the church can be loving and compassionate without compromising the truth of God’s word. There were families anxious to protect their young children and parents who have teens that are being exposed to difficult situations. Great skill and tact are needed to lovingly share that God is a personal and loving God who only wants the best for His created and redeemed people.

In May we will be heading to 3ABN again to discuss our 4th annual CTL4 (Coming Together LIVE-4 ) to be held September 28-October 5, 2024. We will have much more to share about that very soon. For now, we are working to line up speakers and create workshops for pastors, leadership and individuals who are wanting their lives to be in alignment with the Word of God. You won’t want to miss this amazing event.

The Open House for our newly purchased ministry office building will be at the same time as our CTL-4 and you are invited! Praise the Lord the building was paid off January of 2024! As we round the corner of fourteen years of ministry, we want to give you an opportunity to see where your funds are going and how we intend to take the ministry to the next level. Come and join us for a peak into the inner workings of our new space in Berrien Springs, MI and from where we plan to reach the world. We are continuing full speed ahead with dedicated people and a determination to meet the culture crisis of sexual integrity in all forms and are always looking for new ways to meet the challenges in an ever changing world.

We also have a conference coming up in the fall working with other denominations. Many will be telling their story and sharing that Jesus Christ is Lord and that He alone can satisfy and heal addictions.

Below you’ll find an email from someone who waited to talk privately with me and share how the LGBTQ+ issue has personally affected her and her family.

Thank you so much for your support and care this past year! We look forward to working with you in the coming year, and even more, as we provide the support that has long been needed in our denomination and in our churches.

We have many positions that need volunteers. To help us with your talents and abilities, please consider volunteering. Contact us at: admin@comingoutministries.org.

TESTIMONY

An email from someone that I spoke with a few weeks ago:

I had my own agenda in mind, as I wanted to know how to “get over” the pain of a divorce caused by my ex-husband coming out as gay.

Since then, it’s been 2 weeks or so, and I believe God showed me what I REALLY needed to see. I have OCD, and I can’t force it to go away, and it’s caused much pain and suffering in my life. But when I heard your message and spoke with you, I realized that you too, have something in your life that you can’t force to go away by your strength, and it’s caused you pain. But by your trust and belief in Jesus, He has helped you choose differently. You still have to “fight” with the old you, but Jesus is there to give you victory.

So instead of feeling like I’m stuck with OCD, I can’t change it, it runs in my family, etc, etc, I now see that although I might never be healed from it, I can gradually start working on things that I’ve been afraid to do, because I can pray. I can tell Jesus, Lord, those thoughts are attacking again and trying to take the peace you want me to have. Please restore my balance, and help my brain, because you know exactly what to do.

The secretary at the church, has been sending me readings and texts everyday for encouragement. Right around this time she sent me one that said we are to be coworkers with God.

“Let us trust fully, humbly, unselfishly in God. He knows the sorrows that we feel to the depths of our being, but which we cannot express. When all things seem dark and unexplainable, remember the words of Christ, “What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.” John 13:7. […] Each one has a personal battle to fight. Not even God can make our characters noble or our lives useful, unless we become co-workers with Him. Those who decline the struggle lose the strength and joy of victory!”Ministry of Healing, p. 486-487

That, plus what I learned from you, was an epiphany. In the past preachers always said, give all your problems to God. But that would be all they’d say. I was left wondering and worrying about how that was very good, but what do I do everyday in the meantime? But now I see, as I mentioned, as I go through the day I certainly don’t have to be passive, in fact that would be harmful. I need to exercise my faith and belief, and trust that when I pray, “Lord, those thoughts are attacking again,” that He will help. And He has!

When you prayed with me, and I repeated the words after you, I felt God’s presence. Here we are, two people with different struggles, but the same solution! If God helps you with your struggle, He will certainly help me with mine. I hadn’t thought it possible!

Thank you for your ministry, and I pray for you. Thank you for praying for me. Please, let’s not stop. I am going to church this Sabbath for the first time in probably seven years.

You never know how your ministry will help someone, that’s the cool thing about it. Trust God, and share, and He guides from there.

Thank you Michael! And I thank Jesus everyday for His love, guidance, mercy, and the faith He cultivates in us.
